International Rose Test Garden

The oldest official, continuously operated public rose test garden in the United States boasts more than 8,000 roses. These rose gardens are a must see in Portland. We not only got to see and smell an abundance of roses like we’ve never seen before, we also got a great view of the city and Mount Hood.

Portland Japanese Garden

Large Japanese garden with everything you would expect well designed trais and trees/flowers to fantastic bonzai and from tea saloon.

Oregon Zoo

This is a fairly large zoo either very natural habitats for the animals. The zoo is broken into various geographic ecosystems. The elephant exhibit is really amazing, and the giraffe exhibit is equally interesting. The entire facility is fully landscaped, who’s home makes truly a beautiful place.
